Our most popular materials! Granite is supplied polished. Slate is available honed or natural and sealed with a transparent, waterproof sealer to protect it from weathering and grease or oils from handling.
These materials are perfect for deep-cut signs or ceremonial / presentation plaques. They are the favorite choice for lasered photographic plaques for gifts or for pet memorials.
Slate clocks are also very popular with photographic images etched on them.
Granite is much harder than Slate and has a highly polished finish which some people prefer. Great for exterior, deep-cut signs or as plaques bearing photographic images and personal messages. We have also lasered granite table tops, fire hearths, fire-surrounds and splashbacks for kitchens and bathrooms. Most memorials are made from granite.
